Gombe Emirs receive bags of fertiliser, scholarship slots from – RIFAN Special Project boss
No fewer than 50 bags of fertiliser with 10 scholarship slots have been distributed to selected emirs in Gombe State by Alh. Abubakar Muhammad Bello.

The tuition free scholarship slots would enable indigent Gombe persons study at IHERIS University Togo.

Bello, who is the Coordinator of RIFAN Special Project Gombe State Chapter, and Executive Director of Sarkin Shanu Foundation for Youth and Community Development said the gesture would help boost the economic prosperity of the people.

Speaking on behalf of Bello, the foundation Programme Manager Yahaya Muhammad, explained that traditional rulers were more knowledgeable in identifying those with peculiar needs.
He noted that the RIFAN special project boss was confident that the empowerment would trickle to deserving persons.
He said, “Alh. Abubakar Muhammad S Bello believes that the free fertiliser comes as input support to the farmers and Emirs to use it in their farms as a way of encouraging more people to engage in agriculture, to boost food security in Gombe State and Nigeria at large.”
According to him, five bags of free fertiliser each was delivered to Yeriman Gombe, Billiri, Gona, Akko, Pindiga, Deba, Yamaltu, Kaltungo, Funakaye Emirates.
“One slot of tuition free scholarship form slot to study at IHERIS University Togo was also presented to the Emirs of the Emirates council and two slots to Gombe Emirate,” he added.
