GoHealth organises capacity building for service providers
The Gombe State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (GoHealth), has engaged Facility Managers, Ward Development Committee (WDCs) Chairpersons, Desk Officers in capacity building, towards improving its services to the people of the state in the second cohort.

Our correspondent reports that the statewide training would be held in all local government areas across the state, and beneficiaries are expected to begin to receive their GoHealth ID cards.
However, other healthcare providers that benefitted from the training include; Antenatal Care and Outpatient Department in-charges.
Speaking during the engagement, Dr. Gideon Maspara, at the State-Level training of trainers, disclosed that some of the new innovations would boost service delivery
Maspara said, “This include an automation of referral procedures, online collation and submission of beneficiary encounter data, as well as freewill for beneficiaries to move their service to another facility where they are not satisfied.”
While commenting of the efforts of the Contributory Management Agency, Maspara noted that GoHealth has embarked on an upgrade of its processes compared to the previous year.
“Furthermore, each health facilities will be required to set up a 24/seven desk office, that will attend to GoHealth beneficiaries at any given time,” Maspara added.
According to Dr. Gideon Maspara the training session was aimed at sharing the latest upgrade to GoHealth ICT framework, as well as appraise the performance of each facility and recommend way forward.
