A dirge for my spiritual father, Prophet Godwin Tanko Jetti

Saturday, 15th October, 2022 could be said to be a black weekend as death robbed us of Prophet Godwin Tanko Jetti, our pillar, our shock- absorber, mentor, a teacher of the word, spiritual father, a beloved friend, a dependable brother, a confidential confidant.
Among many things he was my spiritual fighter, trailblazer, detribalized prophet, a scholar, a raw man of God.
Oh, death what have we done to deserve this treatment now, believing and trusting God that 70 years and above is our portion, why now?
Jetti’s death occured along Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State heading to Gombe State, on Saturday evening.
Oh death you are wicked and unwanted guest to many homes but why!, why! Why !.
You have exposed our nakedness and emptiness to the public making our enemies of little faith to say all sorts of negative things against us and the church, asking us where is our God?

Death where are your sting ?, You are wicked and wickedness shall never, never cease in your estates until Jesus comes to redeem us from you, you are wicked and unwanted guest in every home.
This satanic donkey that gave the Dangote truck the opportunities to crush eleven people out of 18 passengers in the Yankarai 18 seater-bus to death hence sending these people to untimely end in the evening thereby accomplishing your tragic missions which claimed the life of prophet Godwin Tanko Jetti and others, you are wicked.
This death at a time when the services of this great man of God is required, you are really evil.
Death, may God number your days of punishment because you are evil and evil you shall remain existentially for causing pains, agonies, mourning, weepings, crying and gnashing of teeth hence breaking joy and comfort of homes at this time Christian believers who holds him in high esteem needs his Prophecies.
The Christian Community is mourning you, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria is not left out, Christian Association of Nigeria, Gombe State Council is worse hit, and members of the God’s Resting Place Power Assembly which you presided over for years as their shepherd is grieving and gnashing their teeth in agonies because of you, death, has snatched you from us.
We also have the hope that the Ministry God has entrusted into your hands shall not scatter rather it will grow stronger and bigger in Jesus mighty name, amen.
The man who sacrificed everything prayer- wise, fasting, teaching the raw words of God, Counselling, a pastor of the word and bishop while going to mountains for prayers on daily basis, this no doubt, has formed your daily routine, praying for divine blessings, open doors, healings and protections for your people whom God has given to you to shepherd is missing you.
Death you are wicked and your kingdom shall never have rest eternally in Jesus Precious Name, amen and amen.
Papa that just celebrated his birthday this August, in a low-key at the Auditorium of God’s Resting Place Power Assembly Tumfure, Gombe State but why!, Why!, why!.
He is now called to glory by his Creator after accomplishing the good works the Almighty God has sent him to do to save lives, preach the raw words of God for over 27 years.
He led believers to Jesus Christ, delivered people from all kinds of diseases and sickness and prophesied to the world and by God’s Glory, his Prophecies came to pass.
Papa,it is quite unbelievable that you are leaving us fatherless, this world actually is not our permanent homes, it is true and painful indeed.
As blood and water, we shall not fail to ask death and its agents, why!,why! why!, but in everything, we shall give praises and honour to Almighty God that his servant, Prophet Godwin Tanko Jetti is resting with him for a work well done.
No doubt, his death cannot be said to have happened by accident but a purposeful will of Almighty God who rewards his people with heavenly kingdom prepared for saints like our Prophet Godwin Tanko Jetti, that made it possible and may the souls of all the faithful departed rest in perfect peace amen, Adieu Prophet Godwin Tanko Jetti.
