CBN Visits RIFAN Special Project, Inspects Flood affected farms
The CBN Director Branch Operation Mrs Elizabeth Fasoranti and Development Finance Officer, Mr Baba Isa, on Friday visited Gombe State RIFAN Special Project farms to inspect the flood disasters affected farms.

Fasoranti, during the inspection lauded Gombe State RIFAN Special Project Alh. Abubakar Muhammad Bello, for maintaining the approved standard.
She revealed that the state has been forthright in carrying set rules of the program especially in upholding all the virtues that would promote equity and transparency in the implementation of the project.
She further hinted that the RIFAN Special Project has no dateline to be cut, “because it’s the most reliable and successful Anchor Borrowers Programme so far, most especially in Gombe State which is the major contributor to the Programme nationwide.”

She further urged farmers affected by the 2022 rainy season flood disaster to accept this in good faith, while assuring them “CBN will through the RIFAN Special Project continue to provide loans to farmers to ensure that all the gaps were filled,” Fasoranti said.
On his part, Development Finance Team under the officer Mr Baba Isah noted the high level of compliance and participation by the farmers with massive harvest recovery.
He made the observation shortly after visiting Alh. Aminu Muhammad Goronyo Warehouse in Dadin Kowa.
