Gov Yahaya attends Alkali’s empowerment programme in Dukku
The Senator representing Gombe North Ahmed Alkali, has presented empowerment items aimed at uplifting his constituents from poverty and want.

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, represented by SSG Prof Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, at the Dukku township stadium venue of the Sunday event, congratulated the beneficiaries of senator Alkali’s gesture and appreciated the Senator for the empowerment saying it would go along way in alleviating poverty among the people.
The Governor used the occasion to assure people of Dukku and indeed the state in general that APC led government and all its elected and appointed officers would continue to provide them the necessary leadership and support to
a better livelihood.
Governor Yahaya, who presented vehicle keys to some of the beneficiaries of the Senator’s gesture encouraged them to work tirelessly for the victory of the party in the coming 2023 general elections.
In his remark, Senator Saidu Alkali said the presentation of the empowerment materials was in appreciation of the peoples unalloyed support to his political achievement
In their goodwill messages, the Commissioners, state legislators and notable politicians from the district called on people to ensure re-electing Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya in reciprocation of his unprecedented performance in three years.
Highlight of the event was the receipt of over 3,800 defectors from the opposition PDP to the All Progressives Congress (APC) include prominent political juggernauts the former Dukku/Nafada Federal Constituency house of representatives member, Ahmed Suleiman and a former Commissioner in Gombe state, Ahmed Abubakar Walama, on behalf of Governor Yahaya by his representative the SSG, Professor Njodi.
He led dignitaries on a royal homage to the palace of the emir of Dukku Alhaji Haruna Abdukadir Rasheed.
Speaking at the palace, the governor briefed the royal father on his mission in Dukku, he also conveyed Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s best wishes to the emir and solicited his royal blessings for victory in the forthcoming elections.
Responding, the royal father commended the developmental strides of Governor Yahaya and assured continued support of his subjects whenever it was needed.
The distributed empowerment items include 6 vehicles, 110 motorcycles, 103 irrigation pumps and grain processing machines.
