World Egg Day – AIT Integrated Farms distribute 3000 eggs in Gombe schools
AIT Integrated Farms on Friday celebrated World Egg Day with pupils and students in Gombe metropolis where 3000 eggs were distributed free to mark the special day.
Periscope Nigeria reports that the newly built Alabura model school Kumbiya-Kumbiya, was among the four schools selected in Gombe metropolis.
The promoters of the Farms are champions of Responsible Business for people, planet and prosperity, they highlighted the nutritional and environmental benefits of eating eggs.
The leading role of philanthrocapitalist movement is supporting their societies by giving back to those most in need using market based approach to social intervention, a niche AIT Integrated Farms and its affiliates are known for.
Our Correspondent reports that AIT Integrated Farms is one of the leading suppliers of affordable eggs in Gombe State with an installed capacity of 500 crates of eggs per day.
Its philanthropic arm AIT Foundation Scholarship Scheme (www.aitfoundation.org), has been supporting academically talented less-advantaged groups since 2011.
