Grassroots movement, The Progressive G10, chaired by the Mr. Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, Chief of Staff to Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has thrown its weight behind the presidential ambition of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The group also supports the the re-election bid of Sanwo-Olu in the coming general elections.

Expressing its resolve during a briefing at the group’s secretariat in Lagos, the convener, Olorunnimbe Ismail Adediran, said Tinubu’s track record, as the governor of Lagos State and achievements in politics, placed him above other contestants.

He said Tinubu’s leadership traits were evident in the number of people he had groomed politically, who have now become successful in their political careers.

Adediran said, “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has shown uncommon leadership traits as an achiever, a senator, and a two-time performing governor with indelible impacts in all areas of governance where other states replicated his achievements.”
