Gombe Govt Approves Registration of Media Practitioners’ Multipurpose Cooperative Society
The Government of Gombe State has certified the registration of Gombe Media Practitioners’ Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited with the Directorate of Cooperatives under the Ministry of Cooperatives.
This was disclosed in a release issued on Saturday by the office of the Special Adviser for Strategy and Information Management to the Governor of Gombe State, headed by Alhaji Shuaibu Ahmed Gara-Gombe.
The cooperative society, the first of its kind in the country, is an initiative of the State Government aimed at improving Journalism and Media practice across the state by addressing the welfare of Media Practitioners and their families through various welfare initiatives and Programmes.
