Njodi cautions Dadiya Community against political jobbers
The Secretary to Gombe State Government Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, has cautioned Dadiya community in Balanga Local Government against fraternising with political jobbers who are out to confuse electorates as the nation enters electioneering period.
Njodi who gave the advise on the backdrop of recent activities, stated this when he played host to the Dadiya Community under the auspices of Dadiya Community Development Association (DACODA), who were on a solidary visit to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s administration.

The community said they were in Government House to appreciate him for projects and programmes sited in the community.

He assured them that 11-100 kilometre road projects initiated by his administration would reach every community.

While appreciating them for their patience, support and unwavering commitment to the State Government under the leadership of Governor Yahaya, Njodi said political appointments would be considered for people of Dadiya, so as to give them effective representation in Government.

The National Chairman of Dadiya Community Development Association, Mr Bage Fotos, who led a delegation of eminent sons and daughters of the Association on the courtesy visit, in his remark commended the inclusive leadership qualities of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
Fotos, explained that they were at the Government House to extend their appreciation to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for his human face in leadership especially as it affects the people of Dadiya chiefdom.
He said the Governor has in his usual compassionate leadership style constructed a befitting skills acquisition centre in Bambam and a hospital in Yelwa, to ease the suffering of the people.
He however, appealed to the Gombe State Government to look into the possibility of constructing the Dogon dutse, Lofiyo, Bagunji road, upgrade the vocational centre Bambam to a technical College and the establishment of boarding school in Dadiya chiefdom.
On political appointments with the APC government in the state, the Chairman also appealed to the administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya to consider the appointment of persons from Dadiya chiefdom as no son or daughter from Dadiya is within the circle of political office holders.
The representative of Elders forum, women and youth leaders of Dadiya Community Development Association equally spoke at the visit where they eulogised the inclusive leadership qualities of Governor Yahaya.
They also promised to deliver the votes of Dadiya to Yahaya, to help him actualise his second term bid.
To this end, the SSG said, “the state Government will within available resources construct the Dogon dutse Lofiyo to Bangunji road and the possibility of upgrading the vocational skills acquisition centre into a technical College.”
Others who spoke in solidarity with courtesy visit include the commissioner of water resources Mijinyawa Yahaya, the chairman of Balanga Local Government Area Garba Umar, and the APC Chairman Balanga Local Government Area Ali Kachalla.
