Saad Buhari wins most outstanding NSCDC PRO award for North-East
The Commandant General of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, on Wednesday crowned DSC Saad Buhari, Public Relations Officer of Gombe command with most outstanding Public Relations Officer in North-East.
Our Correspondent reports that the award presentation was part of highlight of the maiden NSCDC strategic communication conference.
Buhari, known for his performance and cerebral interface between the media and the command got the award following his track record.
Periscope Nigeria reports that Buhari, has opened the channel of communication between the hierarchy and the media operating in Gombe State.
According to a message, he personally sent to PERISCOPE NIGERIA, the award was handed to him by Dr. Peter Afunanya, spokesman of Department of State Services.
The message partly said, “This is to inform you that I have been specially recognised and honoured with an award by the Commandant General.
“The award was given to me yesterday during the 1st NSCDC Strategic communication conference. My recognition award was given to me by Peter Afunayan PhD, the National Spokesperson of the Department of State Services DSS, as the most outstanding Public Relations Officer North-East.”
