The Sarkin Shanu Foundation for Youth and Community Development has flagged off Youth Empowerment Programme in partnership with Mega Creative Global Technology.

PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the  collaboration with Mega Creative Global Technology would equip over 50 youths with skills acquisition training in different specialisations.

Programme Manager of the foundation, Yahaya Muhammad Kumo, said during the opening ceremony of the training session that the foundation with support from its founder and sponsor Abubakar Muhammad Bello, is doing everything possible to mitigate youth restiveness in our community.

According to Yahaya, “the foundation is founded and fully sponsored by the renowned philanthropist Dr Abubakar Muhammad  Bello, Sarkin Shanun Yamaltu, with the desire of giving back to his immediate community.”

Kumo, stressed that if  wealthy individuals could emulate Sarkin Shanun Yamaltu to give back to the community, most youth and women would be empowered.

He further read the message of the Executive Director of the foundation, who congratulated the participants and urged “them to utilise the skills they will acquire in the training which will eventually give them a source of income.”

He further said that empowering youth in the community is paramount as empowerment to the future of our children and country at large.
