Ag. Director Yahaya, Scores Gombe NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp High
The Acting Director North-East Area office, Alhaji Ahidjo Yahaya, has scored NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp Amada high in terms of cleanliness, discipline and Synergy.

Yahaya, made that known during his working visit to the Camp to interact with Corps members and Camp Officials.
Our Correspondent reports that the Acting Director, could not hide his excitement with the cleanliness of the Camp , synergy between Staff of the NYSC and Collaborating Agencies and decorum by Corps members.

He advised Corps members to take the national service seriously as the Scheme strives to instill its ideals and give them a sense of direction for life after service.
He maintained that they must be aware of making mistakes they would live to regret.


The Acting Director, also appealed to them to earn respect in their places of Primary Assignment by touching lives positively and avoiding social vices, “You must live and lead by example in your places of Primary assignment. Out there, you are Ambassadors of the NYSC and your families. It is pertinent to be our ray of hope and agents of social change,” he said.
Speaking on the cardinal programmes of the NYSC; the Orientation Course, Primary assignment, Community Development Service and the Winding up and Passing out, Alhaji Yahaya urged them to put to good use the certificate of National service and other credentials acquired.

He added, “Corps members must make conscious effort to uphold the ideals of the Scheme in the course of the Service year and for life after service.”
