Ex Gombe Sports Commission Chairman, Soye Joins NNPP
Gombe State Chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suffered another major blow as it lost the immediate past Executive Chairman of Gombe State Sports Commission, Malam Hamza Adamu Soye, to the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), in the State.
Soye, dumped the PDP Thursday and was received into his new party, the NNPP by the gubernatorial candidate of the Party, Hon. Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki.
The NNPP is fast taking the place of major opposition party in the State as aggrieved members of both the ruling APC and PDP are joining the Party in their numbers ahead of the 2023 general election.
It would be recalled that the Assistant Director New Media of the PDP Campaign Committee, Hon. Babale Makera, and former Special Assistant to Governor Inuwa Yahaya, Hon. Yushau Dan’Auta have also joined the NNPP.
