Sarkin Shanu Visits Funakaye Emirate, Congratulates New Emir
Alh. Abubakar Muhammad Bello, also known as Sarkin Shanun Yamalatu, on Friday visited Funakaye Emirate to congratulate the newly appointed Emir HRH Alhaji Yakubu Muhammad Kwairanga III and the people of Funakaye Emirate.
Bello, who doubles as Coordinator Gombe State RIFAN Special Project lauded the appointment, adding that it would yield the much needed development.
Our Correspondent reports that Sarkin Shanu’s delegation was received at the Emirate by His Royal Highness, Alhaji Yakubu Muhammad Kwairanga III the newly appointed Emir of Funakaye Emirate.
He described the appointment of the new Emir as well deserved looking at the fact of his track record of antecedents and contribution to the Emirate.
He said, “Your Highness, we’re very glad about your appointment and we’ve confident that you will justify the confidence of the concern as the new Emir of Funakaye by building on all the efforts and progress of the antecedents, we congratulate you and we’re always ready to give all our supports.”
It could be recalled that the Late Emir of Funakaye Alh. Muazu Muhammad Kwairanga III died after brief illness which was gathered to be a heart-related disease.
