Gombe Gov Appoints Kabir Sole Administrator of International Airport
Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has approved the appointment of Engr. Mohammed Kabir, as Sole Administrator, Gombe International Airport.
The appointment, as conveyed by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, is with immediate effect.
The Sole Administrator, according to the SSG, is among other functions, mandated to take inventory of personnel and equipment, prepare the Airport for handing over to Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, FAAN.
He is also mandated to manage all activities and transactions at the Airport pending the hand over as well as prepare the process of procuring a scanning machine for the Airport.
