Gombe Gov Lifts Curfew In Billiri LGA
In view of the improvement of security situation in Billiri Local Government Area, the Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has approved the lifting of the curfew earlier imposed on the LGA.
The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, who announced the new development, said the lifting of the curfew also follows advice by security agencies.
The Governor, according to the SSG urged the people of Billiri Local Government Area and the State in general to remain law abiding citizens and continue to be peaceful in carrying out their lawful activities.
The statement also directed all security agencies as well as the general public to ensure strict compliance.
