Gombe lawmaker, two women leaders dump PDP for NNPP
Hon. Rambi Ibrahim Ayala, member representing Billiri East constituency in the Gombe State House of Assembly has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), with some of her constituents.
Gombe LGA PDP women leader, Maryam Muhammad Audi and her counterpart of Dukku LGA, Asabe Saleh also dumped the PDP and joined the NNPP.
They were received into the NNPP by its gubernatorial candidate in the state, Khamisu Ahmad Mailantarki.
Mailantarki had said the doors of the party are open to everyone, as the state is in dare need of a positive change.
Their defection is coming hours after three officials of the PDP in Gombe LGA joined the NNPP.
With this development, NNPP is becoming the second force ahead of the PDP in Gombe
