Gov Muhammadu Yahaya Flags off Re- election Campaign in Gombe

Pantami Studium was agog as Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State flagged- Off his Campaign Council for his Re- election on Saturday.
Our Correspondent reports that the National Chairman of All Progressives Congress; Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the former Governor of Borno; Senator Ali modu Sheriff , Alhaji Isa Gubana, the Deputy Governor of Yobe State, Deputy Governor of Gombe State, Dr Manassah Daniel Jatau.
The Gombe State APC Chairman, Hon Nitte Amangal, who is sick was conspicuously absent, Chairman of Organising Committee Campaign Council for Governor Inuwa Yahaya Re- election, Hon Dasuki Jalo Waziri, attended the campaign.
The stadium which was filled with mammoth crowd had in attendance astute administrator and politician of note, Jamil Isiyaku Gwamna, who was also the former PDP Governorship aspirant in 2018.
Gwamna, later defected to APC and also crossed carpeted to PDP in February before losing at the primaries to Muhammad Barde, he was received with his teeming supporters including Hon Charles Illiya, the former Deputy Governor of immediate Governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo back to APC.
Mild drama ensued when the name of Senator Mohammed Danjuma Goje was not mentioned nor called by the National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
Among the attendees were Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Members of the House of Representatives, chieftains of party, youths and women attended the flag off of Campaign ahead of Governor Muhammadu Yahaya’s second term bid.
