Just In: Ex-Gombe PDP lawmaker defects to NNPP
A former member of Gombe State House of Assembly who represented Dukku South Hon. Sani Adamu Dugge, has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to the opposition New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP).
He disclosed his defection in a letter dated 25th December, 2022 addressed to the Waziri South Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Hon. Dugge confirmed the withdrawal of his membership from the PDP.
He said, ‘’I wish to notify you of the withdrawal of my membership (No. 3528) from today 25th December, 2022 from the Party,’’ the letter read in part.
Confirming his defection to PERISCOPE NIGERIA Dugge, said it was his personal decision to join the NNPP.
Recall that three serving lawmakers have recently joined the NNPP in the state assembly making the Party to have equal members with the PDP.
