KADCHMA visits Gombe to understudy GoHealth Programme
…applauds GoHealth for its ICT innovation and leadership
The Kaduna State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KADCHMA), has concluded a two-day working visit to Gombe on a study tour of its Contributory Healthcare Scheme(GoHealth).
Welcoming the delegation, the Agency’s Team Lead Dr. Abubakar Musa, thanked KADCHMA for considering Gombe worthy to come and learn from, stating that GoHealth is an offshoot of KADCHMA and GoHealth has benefitted alot through its understudy of KADCHMA’s operations at the take-off of the agency in May 2021.
Musa emphasised that the visit is timely as it provided a two way learning process, encouraging the team to also critically assess the systems they met and identify rooms for improvement.
The Director-General of the Kaduna State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KADCHMA), Mallam Abubakar Hassan, hailed the efforts of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s administration, especially the political will and commitment he has shown to achieving Universal Health Coverage.
He noted that one critical element they have learnt in Gombe is the manner in which GoHealth has adequately utilised the technology available to it, in the management of its operations, making an almost seamless interface between the providers and the Agency.
He also congratulated the Agency’s Team Lead, for the wonderful work he is doing, attributing it to be a product of his extraordinary leadership qualities. He expressed optimism that, “GoHealth will in no time make a return visit to Kaduna.”
The tour included visits to the State Specialist Hospital, Gombe, PHCC Town, PHCC Pantami, Madina Specialist Clinic, among others.
