Sarkin Shanu Wraps 2022 with Additional Excellence Awards in Gombe
…….. Receives Awards of Excellence from Kumo Development Association, Gombe Media Corporation
Alh. Abubakar Muhammad Bello, also known as Sarkin Shanun Yamaltu, on Thursday received another two most outstanding achievement awards of excellence for the year 2022.
Bello received an award of excellence from Kumo Development Association during its second annual programme in Kumo, where they recognised and honoured different personalities that contributes to the human and capital development of the society – Kumo.
Bello equally received another award of excellence from Gombe Media Corporation at the premises of the Corporation.
While addressing the press, Bello, reiterated his commitment to continue with his good works in ensuring children have access to quality education.
He assured to empower more youths and women with skills that would sustain their day-to-day living expenses instead of being vulnerable in society.
“We should not sit and keep mute while living with this growing population of young people which if not utilised will be a time bomb that will affect all of us in the nearer future, therefore it’s our collective responsibility to work as a team to ensure that they’re empowered,” Bello said.
Our Correspondent reports that the award aims to recognise the effort of leaders in areas of humanity, youth and women empowerment, and social awareness among other services to the community.
It could be recalled that Bello, bagged many awards from various organisations this year.
Earlier this year, Sarkin Shanu received a well-deserved Award from Nigerian Youth Parliament, Our News Nigeria and an honourary doctorate from IHERIS University.
