ASP Mahid Mua’zu Abubakar Gets Arewa Peace Ambassador Award
The Public Relations Officer of Gombe State Police command ASP Mahid Mua’zu Abubakar, on Sunday was crowned with Arewa Peace Ambassador Award.
Abubakar, was awarded at the maiden annual carnival themed #Yankari2023, alongside other eminent personalities following their contributions to humanity.
Our Correspondent reports that the event was organised by Arewa youth and women for change.
According to the prize, presented to Abubakar, “in recognition of your steadfast commitment and dedication in enlightening, orientating, the citizens od this great country which is worthy of emulation.”
In a text shared by Abubakar, he dedicated the recognition to unwavering support of Gombe residents especially youths.
The message partly read, “I dedicate this award to the teeming youth of Gombe State who support us in promoting peace.”
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that Abubakar, since his emergence as ‘Image Maker’ of Gombe State Police command has changed the narrative in public relations, thereby attracting multiple awards including the recent recognition by Inspector General of Police Baba Alkali, bestowed on selected PROs.
