He said, “The following should be safeguarded against criminals through cashless policy in Nigerian virtual world; the banks, customers, Operators of points of sales agents across Nigeria and the cards.”
He noted that Nigerian virtual world should be on generic and not on specific security strategies as it currently stands.
“The policy and procedures of cashless policy in Nigerian virtual world must be placed on generic security strategies (GSS) not specific security strategies (SSS).it is very important for Nigerians to note that the world was classified into three parts not two like before. They are:
Heaven (Natural world),Earth (Natural world) and Virtual world (artificial World/Human made world),” he said.
He added, “However, all the routine activities that had been taking place on earth (Natural world) by human beings or social beings were shifted to virtual world (artificial World) through globalisation and technological advancement. Though, the routine activities of humans were recorded in the heaven. Therefore, Nigerians should learn to live in a virtual world. While, learning to live in a virtual world, they should however note that cyber criminals or internet criminals with techniques and skills of crimes are also there.”
