Fan Donates Training Jerseys To Gombe United FC
Abubakar Hassan CEO of Best Sportswear on Thursday donated forty set of training jerseys to Gombe United Football Club.
Handing over the items to the General Manager of the club, Abubakar Yellow, Abubakar Hassan said as a die-hard supporter, the gesture was part of his little contribution to the Savannah Scorpions.
He promised to continue to push his weight behind the club and prayed for a hitch-free and successful outing in the domestic league.
Abubakar Yellow, General Manager of Gombe United while receiving the training wear, commended Hassan for the gesture and pledged to patronise his products.
“I want to on behalf of the management of the club, technical crew and the players thank you for your benevolence. This is a clear indication of your love for the club and we pray to have more people like you who have the zeal and passion to support the club.
“On our part, we will reciprocate the gesture by patronising your products. We really appreciate the gesture,” he said.
Meanwhile, According to the team’s media officer Halilu Teli, returnees, Bendel Insurance stunned Akwa United 2-0 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, last Sunday to herald the kick off of the long awaited 2023 NPFL season, while the remaining match day one fixtures would be played this Saturday and Sunday respectively.
