Gombe expects 1,071 PCMs for three-week course

No fewer than 1,071, 2023 batch A stream I Prospective Corps Members are expected in Gombe State.
The 1,071 PCMs would be camped for the mandatory three-week orientation course at Amada, Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State.
Conveying the State Coordinator’s message Ada Imoni, the Public Relations Officer and Head of Press Margaret Iliya explained that camp activities would commence with registration from 25th January through Tuesday 14th February 2023.
The statement partly read, “Commencement: Wednesday 25th January 2023. Registration: Wednesday 25th January to midnight of Thursday 26th January,2023, Swearing-in Ceremony : Friday 27th January 2023
and Closing Ceremony: Tuesday 14th February,2023.”
While urging for collaboration of key stakeholders in ensuring smooth movement of Corps Members, its promised to place officials at strategic points for ease of direction to the temporary orientation camp.
“NYSC Gombe State has selected Officers to be at designated motor parks to welcome Prospective Corps members deployed to Gombe State and accord them necessary assistance on arrival.
We count on our Stakeholders and publics of the NYSC to support us in our bit to build a united, hate free and egalitarian society through the noble ship of service under the auspices of the Scheme,” the statement added.

This is to inform NYSC Stakeholders and the general public that Management of the National Youth Service Corps has approved the conduct of the 2023 Batch ‘A’Stream I Orientation Course from Wednesday 25th January through Tuesday 14th February 2023, nationwide.
Take note of timetable for major events as follows:
Commencement: Wednesday 25th January 2023
Registration: Wednesday 25th January to midnight of Thursday 26th January,2023
Swearing-in Ceremony : Friday 27th January 2023
Closing Ceremony: Tuesday 14th February,2023
