Group Canvasses Support for Tinubu/ Marshal in Bauchi
A group under the aegis of Sufee Support Group for Tinubu/Marshal has canvassed support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Governorship candidate of Bauchi State Sadiq Baba Abubakar, adding that they would win the 2023 general elections.
Our Correspondent reports that the group has mass membership across the 20 Local Government Areas of Bauchi State.
Speaking in an interview with our Correspondent, Hon. Abdullahi Muhammad Barau, Bauchi Local Government Coordinator of Sufee support group for Tinubu/Marshal, explained that the group became confident following its grassroot mobilisation for their candidates.
According to him, the leader of Sufee Support Group for Tinubu/Marshal, Alh. Usman Adamu Sufi, who hailed from Zaki Local Government Area of Bauchi State, under Bauchi North Senatorial District, is an accountant by profession and a full time politician with instinct in all the managerial functions.
“He was a gubernatorial aspirant under NNPP in 2019, he has contributed immensely in the history of politics in Bauchi State and Nigeria at large and highly respected elder statesman in the state,” he said.
While commenting on the reason Sufi, chose to join APC, Barau said it was in a bid to ensure the presidential aspiration of Tinubu becomes reality and the governorship ambition of Abubakar is realised.
Barau said, “He (Usman Adamu Sufi) decided to join APC in order to help the presidential candidate Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and gubernatorial candidate of Bauchi State Amb. Sadiq Baba Abubakar, in the 2023 general election, in his agenda to fix all the sectors of the economy in Bauchi State, if elected as Governor of Bauchi State.”
While appealing to electorates to arm themselves with their Permanent Voters Cards, Barau said the group came with its supporters across 20 Local Government
He added, “They came with their structures from 20 Local Government Coordinators at their respective ward levels. Our passionate appeal to the general public, most especially the electorates is to be wise and come out en masse in this 2023 general elections and vote Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Amb. Sadiq Baba Abubakar, as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Governor of Bauchi State respectively. For the fast track of the capital projects and dividends of democracy to the ordinary citizens of the state in all the levels of governance in the State.

Sadiq Baba Abubakar has been productive to the state even before his appointments in 2016 by President Muhammadu Buhari, as Chief of Air Staff through MAHEMA a Non-Governmental Organisation; he has touched the lives of ordinary citizens in all the 20 Local Government Areas of the State. PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that on the 5th of January, 2023, Coordinators including Barau, were inaugurated by Alh. Usman Adamu Sufi, together with a well furnished campaign office for Tinubu/Air Marshal Sadiq Baba Abubakar, commissioned by Sufi in Bauchi North Senatorial District of Bauchi State.
