Kashere varsity dismisses circular on misconduct, disciplinary measures

The Federal University, Kashere in Gombe State has dismissed as misleading purported circular on acts of misconduct and disciplinary measures by the institution.
The university urged the people, especially students, to disregard the circular being bandied on social media platforms.
This is contained in a statement signed by Mrs Janet Ibrahim on behalf of the Acting Registrar of the University, Umar Bayu, yesterday in Gombe.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the management of the University has never approved or authorised the release of such circular.
“Therefore, the public, especially students of the FUK are to disregard the said circular,” she said.
She advised the students to always visit the university’s website, students handbook or notice boards for any information regarding rules and regulations governing their stay on the campus.
She also enjoined members of the public to report perpetrators of such acts to the university authorities or security agencies. (NAN)
