Redesigned Notes: NOA Sensitises Religious Groups In Gombe
The State Director National Orientation Agency (NOA), Gombe state Adaline Waye Patari has paid an advocacy visit on Naira Redesign to Christian Association of Nigeria and Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) offices in the state.
In her address, the state Director urged the religious leaders to make use of the remaining days to educate their followers on the new policy of Central Bank on Naira Redesign.

Our Correspondent reports that the redesigned notes from Central Bank of Nigeria are N200, N500 and N1000.
Patari said, “the new notes will be in circulation with the old notes until 31st January 2023 when it will cease to be legal a tender.”

The religious leaders who spoke at separate meetings promised to cascade the information to the grassroot for proper understanding, so that they could meet up with the date line.
They lauded the efforts of NOA in ensuring that their members were properly informed, adding that losses would be reduced following the sensitisation.
The State Director also encouraged women to use the opportunity to deposit their money into the bank to avoid losses.
