Some Abia Residents Adopt Prayer, Fasting For Gov Candidate Uchenna Ikeonne

Some politicians and their members have developed strategies and tactics towards winning the forthcoming general elections for their parties in the state.

Amongst the strategies is seeking the face of God to help them woo the electorates and sustain their confidence so as to vote their candidates from top to bottom in the elections.
According to the statement, the Ikemba Front Ward 5, a socio- political group in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government of Abia State embarked on seven days praying and fasting for Prof. Uchenna Eleazar Ikonne, and other PDP Candidates of the party ahead of February and March 2023 general elections.
Our correspondent reports that the PDP Governorship candidate in Abia State, Ikeonne, who was the immediate Vice Chancellor of Abia State University is an astute administrator, an International scholar of repute, a humanist,a politician and mobiliser whose landmarks achievements in all academic life is visible, humane, and humanistic.
So praying and fasting for God’s interventions for his victory at the polls and under the Peoples Democratic Party is encouraging, at the Ezeukwu’s Palace, in Ngwa Ukwu, Isiala Ngwa North Local Government, the immediate Past Majority Leader of Isiala Ngwa North Legislative Council, Princess Bankeria Enweremadu, explained that the whole essence of their gathering was to pray for the success of the forth coming general election in Abia State, and Nigeria at large.
Princess Enwerendu urged members of Ikemba Front Ward 5 to always remain focus, dedicated and committed towards making sure that their vote for all the PDP candidates in the State would count.
She concluded by charging members of the group to ensure that they visit their various polling units and designated locations in a bid to collect their PVCs to enable them vote massively for Professor Uchenna Eleazar Ikonne and other PDP candidates come February and March 2023.
