VP Osinbajo, Gombe Gov, Others Guest Shehu of Borno Daughter’s Wedding
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya others attend the wedding fatiha of shehu of Borno’s Daughter Princess (Barrister) Kabawa Aisha and her spouse Prince Faruk Side Bage (Yeriman Lafiya).
Governor Yahaya was among the array of dignitaries that include; Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo; Governor Babagana Umarah Zulum of Borno State; Engineer Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state; APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu; Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari Prof. Ibrahim Gambari and other prominent personalities attended the wedding fatiha of shehu of Borno’s Daughter Barr. Kabawa Aisha Gana.
The wedding fatiha which took place at the Central Mosque Maiduguri, Borno State was consummated after the fulfilment of all requirements of Islamic marriage and payment of Dowry by the representative of the groom who is the Governor of Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi Sule while Governor Babagana Umarah Zulum stood in for the bride.
Governor Yahaya congratulated the couple for a pleasant and historic wedding fatiha and
charged them to remain prayerful, fear Allah and respect their marital vows to guarantee lasting peace and happiness in their relationship.
For the SSG, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi the event was more of a home coming to the Shehu of Borno’s Palace being a title holder of Shemltimailumuye of Borno, a title conferred on him during his reign as Vice Chancellor, University of Maiduguri.
The Deputy chairman, Gombe State Council of Emirs and Chiefs Mai Kaltungo, Engr. Saleh Muhammed OON also led a delegation of traditional rulers from Gombe State to the occasion.
