The Technical Adviser of Gombe United, Aliyu Zubairu, says winning their next Nigerian Premier League(NPFL), Group A fixture is not negotiable.

He was speaking shortly after the Savannah Scorpions forced El-kanemi Warriors to a goalless draw at the El-kanemi Warriors Sports Complex, Maiduguri in the week three fixture of the ongoing #NPFL23 today.

According to him, Gombe United are yet to record a win after three matches, therefore they definitely need the maximum three points in their next home fixture.

On the draw, Aliyu Zubairu explained the outcome of the match was not bad, but they should have won going by the chances we failed to utilized at the tail end of the encounter.

Zubairu said, “It was a good game, ordinarily is a game we supposed to win considering the fact that towards the end of the match we have chances, but we failed to capitalize on. All the same, the draw is a good one on the road.”
