Balanga erupts in jubilation as Eminent politicians from the zone takes campaign to the Local Council
Few days after Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya rounded off first and second phase of his gubernatorial campaign, a forum of APC stakeholders in Gombe South Senatorial District led by the State Deputy Governor Dr. Manassah Daniel Jatau and the Director-General Gombe South Campaign Council Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, began another round of political engagement to consolidate on APC grip on the state.
For a comprehensive coverage of Gombe South, the campaign trail of eminent politicians from the zone, on Monday visited some notable communities in all the 10 wards of Balanga Local Government other than the ones earlier rallied on by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
Addressing the enthusiastic crowd in 10 communities visited, the State Deputy Governor Jatau described the All Progressive Congress APC in Gombe South as a strong and united force that poise to deliver victory for the party from top to bottom.
He said the import of the collective campaign rally was to send a clear and unambiguous message to the opposition that the APC in Gombe South is united and rock solid to deliver a resounding victory.
Jatau observed that the gains of the APC especially under the leadership of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya in the last three and half years is such that every sector of the economy in the state has been impacted for the overall benefit of the people.
The Director-General Gombe South Campaign Council Professor Njodi explained that the people of Balanga Local Government Area owed it a moral obligation to return the favour to Governor Inuwa Yahaya given the excellent performance of the Governor in the council.
He cited the Tallasse-Dong-Reme-Degri road as one important project that has since opened up contiguous communities for social and economic activities.
It was for this reason and so many others that the Director General of Gombe South Campaign Council called the people of Balanga Local Government Area and by extension Gombe South to vote for Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya in the 2013 General election.
As for the aspirants Senator Joshua Lidani, Victor Mela Danzaria, Musa Buba and his counterpart in Balanga South, said their commitment to the of the APC at the polls remained unwavering.
Others who spoke at the campaign rally include Barrister Achana Gayus and some political office holders from some of the respective communities visited.
