Gombe SSG, Unimaid VC, others guest Hussaini Bappa’s wedding
Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri Professor Aliyu Shugaba were among hundreds of well wishers that guested the wedding fatihah of Comrade Hussaini Bappa.

Bappa, was a former National President of Gombe State Students Union and Alumnus of the prestigious University of Maiduguri and his heartthrob Aishatu Ibrahim.
The wedding fatihah which took place at Bolari Mosque Gombe witnessed by de la crème of personalities, friends and well wishers from far and near was consumated after the fulfilment of all requirements of Islamic injunction and payment of N100 thousand as bride price by the chief Imam of the masjid Sheikh Abubakar Lamido.

Congratulating the newly wedded, Gombe SSG and the current Vice Chancellor University of Maiduguri Professor Aliyu Shugaba, congratulated Comrade Hussaini Bappa and his lovely wife and wished them bliss in their life, praying Allah to bless their union.
Shugaba who stood in for the bride as Waliyi equally enjoined the couple to tolerate one another, imbibe the spirit of patience and love as the marriage last.
Elated, Bappa thanked Allah for making him see this day of bidding bye to bachelorship, as he also described the day as the most joyous and memorable.
He appreciated specifically the duo of Professors Njodi and Shugaba for being excellent mentors who transformed his life positively, adding that he would never take their show of love for granted,praying God to reward them abundantly.

Among dignitaries present are; His Royal Highness Lamido Gona HRH Alhaji Umar Abdukadir Abdulsalam, Principal Private Secretary to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, Senior Special Assistant Research and Documentation Government House and Directors in the SSGs office among many other well wishers from both families of the bride and groom.
Bappa was turbaned by His Royal Highness Lamido Gona; Abdulsalam with the title of Dansararin Gona.
The ceremony which took place at the Lamido Gona Palace was well attended by well wishers.
