I’ll explore Kolmani oil field for the benefit of North, Nigeria -Tinubu

The Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress Bola Tinubu, says his target as president would be to continue with oil exploration in Gombe State for the benefit of the region and the country.
Tinubu, made this vow at the palace of Emir of Gombe; Abubakar Shehu-Abubakar III, when the presidential campaign council visited to canvass for the monarch’s support.
Our Correspondent reports that this was before the presidential candidate proceeded to Pantami stadium, where mammoth crowd were waiting for hours before he arrived at about 2:40pm.

According to him, his administration would ensure the needed economic prosperity of the state and the region, saying that his administration would continue with the recent oil and gas find.
He said, “I will ensure the prosperity of Gombe as as a state. I will continue with oil exploration for the benefit the north and Nigeria in general.”
On his part, Emir Shehu-Abubakar lauded the APC presidential candidate, noting that he had built sterling track record which has endeared him to residents in his domain.
He teasingly said that jagaban, Tinubu’s traditional title has become a trademark for performance.
“Your qualities are clear as former Lagos State Governor. Jagaban has become a household name because of your track record,” Shehu-Abubakar said.
Also speaking, Governor Muhammadu Yahaya of Gombe State said they were in palace to seek support ahead of the general elections, adding that “Tinubu has the needed qualities to provide quality leadership.”
