Mammoth Crowd welcomes Gombe South Campaign Council, pledges massive votes for APC
As the Gombe South Campaign Council Train continues canvassing for massive votes, the team was impressed with the mammoth Crowd that accorded them warm reception in all the places visited, which includes, Lashikoldok, Pokata, Latatar, Labarya, Banguji-Bangu, Kushi, Burak, Filiya and Dwaja all in Shongom LGA.

The Campaign Team led by the Deputy Governor of Gombe State,Dr Manassah Daniel Jatau, described the outing as unique, and the crowd unprecedented and a pointer, indicating that victory is sure for the Party.
Jatau appealed to the electorate to cast their votes in favour of the APC from the President down to the Members of the State House of Assembly.
He appreciated the support given to them in the last general elections which led to their coming to power and expressed hope that they will replicate their gesture by voting the party again in the next general elections.

The Deputy Governor called on them to be careful of politicians who will come and deceive them for the purpose of their own selfish desires, pointing out that it is only the APC that has the people at heart.
The Deputy Governor said, the APC under the leadership of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya,has shown great commitment to Health, Education, Agriculture, infrastructural , and human capital development, and taking care of workers salaries and entitlement including the payment of gratuities to retired civil servants which had been neglected by the past Governments.He also mentioned the recent employment of one thousand teachers with the intention of improving the output standard of our education performance.
He assured them of continuity of all these well meaning projects and programmes for the well being of the people of the state if, given the opportunity.
He informed the people, that Gombe South is now united and ready to speak with one voice for the development of the region, pointing that, it was the reason why, all the top ranking APC politicians from the zone are moving together, soliciting for the votes of all people who are of voting age.
In his remarks, the Secretary to the State Government, Prof Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, who is also the Campaign Director-General of the council informed the gathering at all the places visited that the team is canvassing for votes in respect of the Party’s Senatorial Candidate, Barrister Joshua Lidani, and the Candidates for House of Representatives of Kaltungo-Shongm, Hon. Simon Elisha Karu and Balanga-Billiri, Hon. Victor Mela Danzaria and the members of the State House of Assembly from Shongom LGA, including, Hon. Asmau Iganus Mohammed(Shongom East) and Hon. Gaius Golkos Gaji(Shongom West).
He appreciated the crowd for warm reception and expressed optimism that the support shall culminate in their votes for the APC, and subsequent victory of all the party’s candidates in the zone , the state and the nation.
Senator Joshua Lidani, the candidate for the Senatorial seat and Hon. Simon Elisha Karu assured the electorates of continued inclusive and adequate representation towards bettering their lives.
The team took time to sympathize with families of late Yakubu Istifanus Porgo at Lashikoldok, and Mr. Enosh Maisamari in Gomle, Kushi all in Shongom Local Government Area, over death of their loved ones.
Speaking separately at the two places, the Deputy Governor expressed the sympathies of Gov. Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya the APC Candidates, and the entire people of Gombe State over the losses, describing it as a great shock to the state.
He said, as painful as death could be humans are requested to appreciate God in every circumstances, because there are situations painful than death in life and God’s verdict over humanity is the best and perfect plan.
He urged them to accept it in good faith, praying God to grant the deceased eternal rest.
The team include, Hon. Members of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Commissioners, Special Advisers, Chairmen and Members of Boards and Parastatals, Directors- General,drawn from the zone.
