Pictorial: Cultural Carnival reviewed to introduce beautiful innovations – Imoni
The State Coordinator NYSC Gombe, Mrs Ada Imoni said the 2023 Batch ‘A’Stream I Cultural carnival has been reviewed to introduce beautiful innovations to enable Corps members appreciate the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria.


Imoni, made that known at the cultural carnival held at NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp Amada, Gombe State.


“Young Compatriots, the NYSC will be celebrating it’s golden jubilee,come 22nd May, 2023. The fifty year old Scheme has continuously introduced exciting programmes in the course content,thereby keeping the Scheme visible.
“One of such innovations is the cultural carnival, introduced into the course content to restore our dignity subdued by foreign cultures. The onus lies on you and I to promote our culture and traditions,” she maintained.


Imoni described the Orientation Camp as a melting pot of different cultures and traditions,with the sole aim of promoting national unity and integration.
The platoons displayed various cultures ranging from Efik, Fulani, Tarok, Tiv, Igbo, Sayawa, Hausa, Yoruba and Calabar among others.
