Tinubu, Obi banking on sentiments to become president – PDP Youth Leader

The National Youth Leader of Peoples Democratic Party; Sulaiman Kadade, says Presidential candidates of All Progressives Congress and Labour Party Bola Tinubu and Peter Obi are only banking on sentiments to become president.
Kadade made the disclosure in his address during North-East town hall in Gombe organised by Presidential Youth Campaign Council to canvass support for PDP’s Atiku Abubakar
Our Correspondent reports that the theme: The role of youths and students in 2023 elections, was held to meet with leaders of major youth-focused organisations.
According to him, the presidential candidate of the PDP, Abubakar, has got the requisite experience, exposure, stressing that it glaring in his manifesto unlike his counterparts with either sentiment on religion, tribe.

Kadade said, “Every serious Nigerian knows that Nigeria is in crisis.Have you ever heard about Tinubu’s policies, he doesn’t have policies. Have ever heard of Peter Obi’s policies?No, they are all banking on sentiments.
“Wherever Tinubu goes he says it’s his time to be president. We can’t handover the lives of 200 million Nigerians to a man who doesn’t have policy being a governor of Lagos State doesn’t mean you are licensed to be Nigeria’s President, you can’t vote for a man willing to divide this country but one that will find solutions to our country.”
The Youth Leader explained that Education, remained a priority area of Abubakar’s policy thrust, adding that, “If Atiku Abubakar becomes president Education will be his priority. When we talk of economy; economy is part of our lives whether we like it or not. Bad economy leads to crime, changes the mindset of the youth, Atiku Abubakar promises to set aside $10b to create jobs for the younger generation.”
While appealing to the youths of the North-East region, the PDP National Youth Leader added that, “this candidate is your son, father, don’t allow this time to pass you by. Atiku Abubakar has the capacity, experience, capacity as former Vice President, customs officer, to pilot the country. Go back to your campaign for Atiku.”
On his part, Amb. Ibn Abass, urged the students and youths to make Abubakar’s presidency a reality.
“Without youth support we may not make it to the villa (Seat of Power), but with your support we will get there,” he added.
Also speaking, Ismail Sahabi, Secretary of Citizens Awareness Forum and lecturer of Federal College of Education,
While delivering his presentation on youths as catalyst said the present administration had caused undue damage to the country.
Sahabi said, “This administration is destroying the economy of northern Nigeria, saying “that Atiku will repair the destruction of the APC government.”
Also, Grace Gara, of Education As Vaccine, in her presentation urged the Abubakar’s presidency to prioritise education.
“We demand that emphasis will be placed on girl child education. Review 12 years free and compulsory education up to senior secondary school for all.
“Domestication and effective implementation of the Child Rights Act across the 36 states of in Nigeria to ensure girls complete education.A conducive learning environment for girls free from gender-based violence, insecurity and all other forms of violence,” Gara said.
Technical Adviser to the Youth Leader Danjuma Sarki, said the only option to redeeming the country from collapse, “is to vote Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, he has the solutions to the challenges of the country.”
