Senator Lau wins Taraba North senatorial seat

The independent national electoral Commission, has declared senator Shu’aibu Isa Lau, of the Peoples Democratic Party, as winner of the just concluded Taraba North senatorial election.
The returning officer, Professor Chibiya Paul Chingu, who DVC Central Admin, Federal University Wukari said the PDP candidate scored a total of, 74,645 votes to defeat his opponent in the APC, Sani Abubakar Danladi, who scored, 60,878 votes.
Our Correspondent reports that the Senate Deputy Minority Leader is currently serving his second term in the Senate.
