The Peoples Redemption Party, on Tuesday rejected its inclusion in the endorsement of Inter-Party Advisory Council which was recently announced by the Secretary Mohammed Doho.
Our Correspondent reports that IPAC had on behalf of about 13 political including PRP endorsed the emergence of National Assembly candidates in Gombe State, ranging mainly from Peoples Democratic Party and All Progressives Congress.
According to a press statement made available to our Correspondent, which was signed by Alhaji Ahmad Badamasi, the state chairman, dissociated PRP from the list of political parties in alignment with IPAC’s endorsement.
The statement disclosed that Doho was asked to withdraw PRP’s name from the purported endorsement, adding that he failed to meet its request within the given 48 hours.
Badamasi in the statement noted that Independent National Electoral Commission, Nigeria Police Force and Department State Services have been copied to ensure the needed justice was carried out.
The statement partly read, “For the avoidance of doubt the Peoples Redemption Party was not part of the meeting at which this decision was taken and we therefore dissociate ourselves from it and any similar decision in the future.
“We demand that you as a matter of urgency issue another press statement to withdraw the name of our great party and to write apology letter to us within 48 hours of receiving this letter.
“We look forward to your early action on this matter, failing which we may resort to other option to redress the wrong done to our great party, the PRP.”

Great work mr chairman, we remain loyal to you and your leadership style
