Batch A stream II: Imoni tasks Camp officials on discipline, teamwork, others
Camp officials have been advised to take the 2023 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation Course seriously, as each Camp has its peculiarities.

The State Coordinator; Mrs Ada Imoni, made that charge at the general meeting of Camp officials held at NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp Amada, Gombe State.
According to her, the meeting was to set the tone for the task ahead and get fresh ideas on how to run a successful orientation exercise.
Speaking on discipline, Mrs Imoni said as a team saddled with the responsibility of grooming young graduates for nation building, the onus lied on them to lead by example.
“We must say no to over socialisation , extortion or any form of social vices. NYSC Management frowns at such acts and will not take lightly anyone caught extorting Corps members in any form. The task of grooming these young men and women is a collective responsibility. Any service rendered on camp is free to all Corps members. Kit items issued to them are also free and should not be sold,” she added.

Imoni, speaking on use of illicit drugs said, the camp is a place for moulding characters, as such use of illicit drugs would not be tolerated.
“I’m therefore calling on representatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency and other heads of Security Agencies to work as a team in order to watch out for bad eggs,” She said
Meanwhile, the Camp Director, Mr Ado Danladi Taura, said he would be operating an open door policy, adding that constructive criticisms would be welcomed for the good of the exercise. He maintained that ,there must be total compliance to policies guiding the operations of the Orientation Course.
On his part, Major A Ornan, the Camp Commandant appealed to all to work as a team to complement one another in order to have a hitch free Orientation Course.
In her remarks, the Resident Officer one, Lady Lydia Mashat, emphasised on the need to avoid physical contact with Corps members, “We must see Corps members as our brothers and sisters,” she added.
