Gombe NSCDC Commandant lauds NEDC interventions, assures safety
In furtherance to sustainable collaborative engagements with key Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government, Commandant Achir Abraham, State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Gombe State Command paid a familiarisation visit to the North-East Development Commission state office.
The NSCDC’s boss commended the commission for its effective service delivery to humanity in various aspects of development and assured the NEDC of the readiness of the Command to ensure the safety of the commission’s staff and property.
The Commandant further assured the Coordinator that NSCDC would continue to support the commission in actualising its mandates.
In his response, the State Coordinator NEDC Alhaji Usman Bappah, welcomed the State Commandant and his team on a working courtesy visit to the Commission.
He also commended the effort of NSCDC personnel who are currently posted to the commission for exhibiting a high level of professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
He gave the commitments of the Commission to continue working with NSCDC in order to rebuild and move the region forward.
