Kogi Guber Primary: Murilight DG petitions Buhari, Tinubu over Matawalle’s alleged interest
The Convener of Murilight Salihu Jiddah, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari, President-elect Bola Tinubu and other major stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress to beam its searchlight on the committee led by Zamfara State Governor.
Our correspondent reports that Murilight is a group campaigning for the emergence of Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, ahead of Kogi gubernatorial election.
Jiddah, who is the organisation’s Director-General made this disclosure in a statement made available to PERISCOPE NIGERIA, titled; Matawalle shouldn’t be allowed to waylay Kogi people -Murilight DG warns.
While alleging the partisanship of Bello, he disclosed that, “We commend the active members of our party who came out despite harassment and intimidation by attackers of democracy, Governor Matawalle is becoming partisan in the election by trying to manipulate the results.
“We want the general public to know that Hon Murtala Yakubu Ajaka has won in about 14 LGAs and we have full evidence to this results.”

The Convener, Murilight ground Comr Salihu Adam Jiddah has revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari, the APC, the President Elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the general public should beam their search light on one of it member and a sitting Governor of Zamfara State Governor Bello Matawalle, who lead a committee of the party for the primary election in Kogi state.
While we commend the active members of our party who came out despite harassment and intimidation by attackers of democracy, Governor Matawalle is becoming partisan in the election by trying to manipulate the results.
We want the general public to know that Hon Murtala Yakubu Ajaka has won in about 14 LGAs and we have full evidence to this results.

Kogi West:
10. KABBA
11. LOKOJA

13. OGORI MANGOGO
And Kogi Central:
14. AJAOKUTA
We are calling on our members to remain law abiding and very vigilant to checkmate any ugly move by any one especially Gov Matawalle who is bent to armtwist and subvert the will of our people.
The APC must remember that a man who has failed to manage the security situation in Zamfara State should not replicate same in Kogi state which has been known all along to be very peaceful state.
