NMA visits Abia State Gov-elect
The leadership of Nigerian Medical Association, Abia State Chapter, led by its chairman Dr Isaiah Abali visited Abia state Governor-elect, Dr Alex Otti, at his country home in Umuru, Nvosi, Isiala Ngwa South.
Abali expressed his delight at the victory of the governor-elect at the just concluded governorship election. He thanked God that the will of the people prevailed at the polls.
The NMA chairman reassured Otti of the support of the medical association, and promised to work in synergy with his administration to improve healthcare in Abia state.
Responding, Abia Governor-Elect, Otti thanked the NMA chairman and the entire delegation for their kind gesture and expressed his appreciation for their support.
He also thanked them for their concerns for Abia state’s deplorable health institutions and made a commitment to turnaround the state of healthcare in the state.
