Officials failure to come out calls off match in Ogun State
The match between Gombe United Football Club and Remo Stars has been called off, over alleged threats to match officials in Ogun State.
Our correspondent reports that Remo Stars recently picked three points in Gombe, during their away match.


According to release by the Media Officer Halilu Teli, issued to Journalists in Gombe, the match was called off after the match officials refused to come out.
Teli’s statement partly read, “The match was called off after the match officials refused to come out from the dressing room for the second half. Sources revealed that the referee was assaulted in the dressing room.”
The unfinished match with Technical Adviser Zubairu Aliyu, had Rahman Olarewaju – 24, Alege Abdulquadri – 4
Usman Abbas – 26, Christian Molokwu – 31, Victor Dawa – 22, Samuel Ogunjimi – 25, Taiye Yusuf – 7, Igbudu Apam – 9
Aminu Mohammed – 8 and Obata Paul -36.
While on the bench; Abubakar Adamu – 44(GK), Ahmed Family – 15, Chigozie Umeh – 19, Lucky Vandi – 20, Chidi Ernest – 14, Abba Maigari – 13, Mathias Samuel – 30, Al Amin Al Amin – 28 and Anayo Ogbonna – 2.
