Alex Otti: Abians awaiting the Architect of modern Abia

It’s one week to the inauguration of Abia’s next Governor Dr Alex Otti, Everywhere is filled with happiness, and there is a restoration of hope in the land.
Economic refugees and business owners who abandoned their homeland are catching flights, boarding buses back to Abia state, roads and airports are busy.
The Ariaria International market has received positive signals about the imminent change in Aba, and investors are scrambling to invest in Nigeria’s second biggest market (in terms of size).
The incoming Governor is healthy and actively holding strategic meetings with his incoming government, which is speedily taking form.
The appearance of his face on TVs in millions of homes resonates hope. The people now have a Governor they voted for – A technocrat, an economist, and a highly revered banker. The pioneer of The New Abia. The love is real.
While Abia continues to beam with new energy, I received a call from an Abia brother in London, and we were both in tears.
He said to me, “Charisma, I can’t believe we are witnessing the Abia of our dreams in our lifetime.” I told him I was on my way to Abia state from Enugu to submit a proposal and volunteer to embark on a Tourism Development Project without a salary, to engineer a mindset of pride in Abia’s cultural heritage and tourist sites. To align with the new energy in the atmosphere and map out new ways of generating IGR for God’s Own State.
He told me he had just moved his children out of school in London and was in touch with a school in Ohafia where he plans to invest half of his net worth into animal husbandry and cash crop farming.
My alarm rang. It’s 10am and I had overslept. I didnt know when I shouted “It Is Finished” !!
