Dawut Jidda, visits Gombe Director of DSS harps Corps members’ security

The Gombe State National Youth Service Corps Coordinator, Dawut Jidda, has paid a courtesy call on the Director, Department of State Services Abba Abdullahi Adams.
The visit according to him, was to familiarise himself with the Command and appreciate the numerous assistance they have been rendering to the Scheme in the State.

He solicited for the deployment of Personnel of the State services to the venue of the Low-key Passing-out Ceremony of the 2022 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Corps members.
He prayed for the sustenance of the cordial relationship between the Command and NYSC, calling for more robust collaboration, as enjoyed by his predecessor.

In his remarks, Adams, said the relationship between the two organisations has been cordial, emanating from their headquarters in Abuja.
He maintained that Corps members and managers of the Scheme must be held dear by all and sundry, adding that his command would continue to do it’s best to protect the interest of the Scheme .
“The scheme is a prerequisites for a lot of things in this country. We must do our best to keep it visible and relevant at all times,” he added.
While promising to leave his doors open for the NYSC whenever the need arises, Adams felicitated with NYSC on the golden jubilee, adding “I congratulate the National Youth Service Corps at 50. I am glad that the founding father is alive to witness it’s golden jubilee.”
