On Art and The Link
By Richard Inoyo
The alphabets and texts of art regulation arguments have now been mulled over and flung to the dustbin of despicable history by determined activists even before the Bills got to the docket of the legislature.
I’ve warned, not once but thrice, why creative art should be protected at every inch of human sojourn and assertion, and for those of us at Citizens’ Solution Network, regulations isn’t the equivalent of protection, and the two items ain’t mutually exclusive and that is why we joined the solidarity to pull down the lever of that arguments.
And protecting art requires not just confronting those trying to gag creative expression, but appreciating artists and their works and the factors that defend arts.
I’ve taken sufficient literature into my study and review them for their authenticity and the informed direction they seek to guide humanity to. And too often, the most intelligent of humans find art as actively essential coordinate to human development like jazz is to musical community and lovers of good music.
Like I have said, yesterday’s art is an involvement vehicle that we all can travel through to meet and x-ray history, and most importantly understand how the current structures of the present came to be, and to what extent we can tap into the incoming view of the future and prepare ourselves through the informing of artists and their crafts.
Whatever happens, art should be protected but not censored against the pretext of regulations from any constituted authority. Let’s all defend art without endangering creative expression.
