A talented Ogbomoso-based chef Temitope Adebayo, has unveiled his ambitious plan to embark on a remarkable 140-hour cook-a-thon.
His intention is to surpass the existing record held by Chef Hilda Baci, who successfully completed a 100-hour cook-a-thon, and Chef Dammy, who is presently on track to achieve her targeted 120-hour cook-a-thon.
Adebayo took to social media to share the news of his plans, which was sighted by our correspondent.

PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that some tweeps have expressed displeasure over the proliferation of contestants for cook-a-thon, especially as Baci was yet to get her certificate.

Adebayo posted screenshots displaying his registration to the renowned Guinness World Record and an email verification he received as proof. The screenshots explicitly revealed that his extraordinary 140-hour cook-a-thon has been slated for the 1st of November 2023, taking place in the city of Ibadan, Oyo State.
He conveyed his optimism and preparedness for the forthcoming challenge, expressing his confidence in his capability to successfully complete the cook-a-thon.
The devoted chef has dedicated months of effort towards his preparation, focusing on enhancing his endurance and stamina, ensuring that he is in optimal physical condition for the demanding feat.
