Gombe Gov constitutes members of 2023 fertiliser distribution committee

The Gombe State Government has approved the constitution of 2023 fertiliser Sales and Distribution Committee to ensure that the commodity is not hijacked by unscrupulous elements in the society.
Inaugurating the State Committee by the Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, in Gombe, the Governor charged them to discharge their duties fairly, honestly and patriotically so that no section of the state would be short-changed in the sales and distribution of these commodities.
According to him, the members who are appointed have distinguished themselves in their various fields of human endeavour and the Governor said he had no fear that they will discharge their duties honestly to the people.
The members of State Sales and Distribution Committee are the following;
(i) Barr. Abdullahi Ibrahim Jalo – Chairman
ii) Director, Planning Research & Statistics, Ministry of Agriculture – Member
iii) Director, Admin & Finance , Ministry of Finance – Member
iv) Director, Ministry for Local Government – Member
v) Director, Cooperative & Rural Development – Member
vi) Chairman, All Famers Association, Gombe State – Member
vii) Representative of the Commissioner of Police – Member
viii) The Representative of DSS – Member
ix) Bala Sarki, Director, Special Services & Political Office of the Secretary to the State Government – Secretary
