Jidda commends Corps members participation in CDS
…. As 274 2022 batch ‘B’ stream II corps members pass-out in Gombe State.
The State Coordinator NYSC Gombe, Mr Dawut Jidda, has commended the effort of Corps members in Community Development Service.

Jidda , speaking at NYSC Local Government Office Bolari, during a Low-key passing-out ceremony of the 2022 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Corps members, expressed his gratitude to those who used their time and energy to mobilise resources in order to touch lives positively in their host communities.

He also encouraged Corps members to embrace the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme in order to be entrepreneurs and employers of labour.
“The era of white collar jobs is far gone. Your tomorrow lies in your hands. Remember, the effort you will put into achieving your dreams is entirely your responsibility . The time to start is now,” he added.

The State Coordinator was also at the Federal Secretariat, where he addressed Corps members from the other ten Local Government Areas.
He cautioned them against embarking on night journeys and engaging in any form of social vices.
We await good news about yout progress soon . It is your responsibility to play your part in developing this Country. It starts with us first seeing ourselves as brothers and sisters and doing await with differences and stereotypes,” he maintained.
Our correspondent reports that out of the 274 Corps members, two got extension of service for various offences committed after facing the Corps Disciplinary Committee and one 1 deceased ( in the course of child bearing).
